Greg is a licensed acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist, as well as a member of the Maryland Acupuncture Society, the British Acupuncture Council, and the Register of Chinese Herbal Medicine in the United Kingdom. After graduating with a B.A. in Religion from Davidson College, he received his medical training from the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading, England.
Acupuncture is an ancient and venerated method of treating ailments via the stimulation of energetic pathways within the body. Illness is seen as an imbalance of energy resulting from physical and emotional trauma, heredity, diet, and lifestyle. The insertion of thin sterile needles in specific acupuncture points on the body can be highly effective for treating illnesses ranging from physical complaints of all kinds to deeper, more emotional and psychological concerns.
Chinese Herbal Medicine is a safe and very effective method of treating illnesses of all description. Herbal medicine works especially well in tandem with acupuncture, as the methods use a similar holistic approach to healing. Formulas specific to each patient’s needs are created based upon a system of knowledge developed over thousands of years of study and experience. The Chinese herbs used meet stringent governmental requirements for purity, and can usually be utilized by patients taking prescription medications.

Gift Certificates
