Tina Brown, MA, LCPC, has been providing counseling and educational services to individuals, families, and groups since 1987. She holds a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, is licensed by the state of Maryland to practice professional counseling, and is a certified meditation facilitator.

Tina operates from the philosophy that every person is inherently good, and is on their own unique journey, which holds infinite possibilities. She meets each individual where they are in the process, and gently guides them to a place of calm within. It is from this place of calm that life’s challenges can most effectively be met. Tina has years of experience working with individuals who are dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, stressful life transitions, complex relationships, and those who feel that there is more to life and want to recognize their fullest potential. Her integrative approach to psychotherapy utilizes psychological and self-regulating therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness practices to promote inner growth and compassionate self-awareness.

In addition to offering counseling, Tina offers a Mindful Separation Coaching program. This customized, 3 part counseling series is for individuals or couples who are considering separating and/or divorcing, and are seeking guidance on how go about it in the healthiest way for their family. The objective of this program is to assist clients with gaining understanding of the legal and emotional process of separating, in achieving clarity about what they want to create through the process, and to offer ways in which to find inner peace along the way.

The services that Tina offers at the Center include:
